Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: 2 June 2026 · Version: 1.0
This page explains how to delete your TradesFlow account and personal data. It applies to both the customer app and the trader app, and meets Google Play's requirement to provide a way to request account and data deletion without needing to install the app.
TradesFlow is operated by GMHCO LTD, trading as "TradesFlow", 5 Mallard Path, London, England, SE28 0EU.
How to request deletion
Option 1 — in the app (fastest)
- Open the TradesFlow app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Data & Privacy.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Option 2 — by email (no app needed) Send a request from the email address on your account to privacy@tradesflow.trade with the subject "Account deletion". We may ask you to verify your identity before we act, to protect your account.
You can also export your data first (Profile → Data & Privacy → Export, or by emailing us).
What gets deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data, including:
- your profile and contact details (name, email, phone);
- your verification/identity details held by us (trader accounts);
- your messages and uploaded photos;
- your reviews' personal identifiers;
- analytics identifiers linked to you.
What we must keep, and for how long
Some records are retained because the law requires it, or to resolve disputes and prevent fraud. These are kept in a minimised form and are not used to profile you:
- Payment and financial records — 7 years (UK tax/accounting law)
- Audit logs — 7 years
- Records needed for an open dispute, chargeback, or legal claim — until resolved
Where records must be kept, we remove or mask the personal details that are not legally required.
Timeframe
We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Backups containing residual data are cycled out on our normal backup schedule shortly afterwards.
